Still water only (no fizz, no flavors)

Plain, still water is the vibe.

• No sparkling/carbonated water, juices, coffee/tea, alcohol, or flavored/acidic mixes.
• Acids + salts can react with copper and alter taste/finish.

Tip: Want citrus flavor? Infuse in a glass, then drink separately from your ikopper bottle.

No microwave. No dishwasher

We love a spa day, but your bottle doesn’t.

• Never microwave metal (ever).
• Dishwashers + high heat/chemicals can dull copper and harm seals.
• Hand-wash only.

First-use setup

Rinse with mild soap and water.

Do one quick lemon + salt swish (see “Clean inside” below).
Rinse well and air-dry open.

Clean inside with lemon + salt (the ikopper way)

  1. Add juice of ½ lemon + 1–2 tsp fine salt + a splash of warm (not hot) water.
  2. Close and shake 20–30 seconds.
  3. Rinse thoroughly until all salt/lemon is gone.
  4. Air-dry open. Don’t soak acidic mixes or leave them sitting inside.

Swap lemon for a dash of white vinegar if you prefer.

Shine the outside

Daily: wipe with a soft cloth.

Optional: copper-safe polish. Avoid abrasive pads on logos/finish.

Patina is natural (and beautiful)

Pure copper gradually deepens in color—this patina is normal and cosmetic. Polish if you like a brighter look, or let it age gracefully. Your bottle, your style.

Hot, boiling, or freezing?

Please don’t fill with hot/boiling liquids and don’t put the bottle in the freezer. Extreme temps may damage finish and seals.

Leak care & daily use

Designed for everyday carry.

• Tighten the cap and carry upright.
• Don’t overfill past the threads.
• Empty and rinse daily; store dry and open.

Ayurveda note (traditional use)

In Ayurveda, tamra jal (water kept in copper) is a traditional practice. If you choose to fill in the evening and drink in the morning, rinse after each use and avoid leaving water inside for days.

Traditional info, not medical advice.

Materials & safety

Bottle body: pure copper. Cap/seal: food-safe materials (see product page for specifics). Not for infants. Don’t store milk or acidic liquids.

Copper Tongue Cleaner

  • After brushing, extend your tongue and place the scraper gently near the back (comfortably). Pull forward lightly, rinse the scraper, and repeat 2–3 times. Fresh start, every morning
  • Rinse with warm water + mild soap after each use; dry thoroughly.
For tarnish: quick lemon + salt wipe, rinse, dry. No dishwasher.

  • Solid copper lasts a long time. Replace if edges become rough, it gets bent, or whenever you prefer a fresh one.

  • Use light pressure only. Don’t use on broken skin or sores. If you have oral concerns, ask your dentist. Keep out of reach of children.
